Thank God that Emma and Alexander found each other. His tender generosity of care, room, space, time, audience, normalcy, and comfort made me sigh with happiness. And it won him her trust, her love, her whole heart and being, and healing for both of them. ❤️🩹 What a wonderful man and human being, as beautiful on the inside as on the outside 😘 (the piano! 😭❤️) and I saw no ice from him except where and when it was needed, which was with Emma's so-called family. The utter gall of those heartless opportunists, more than once! When they told her to leave the house immediately if she didn't want to go through with the contract marriage, she should have left and gone straight to Alexander, who was, of course, still a stranger at that point, and made him an offer: "They want to get money from you. They don't deserve any money from you. And maybe you and I can work something out on our own. They've kicked me out, I need a place to live, and you want a wife. Let's leave them out of it..." etc. Talk about outmaneuvering the manipulators! 💪👌 She was 23 years old, two years past the age of majority and accountability and could do whatever she wanted; she didn't need their permission, their approval, their help, or their anything. I enjoyed this entire story of the discovery, acceptance, celebration, joy, and devotion of the abiding love that Emma and Alexander chose for themselves and gave to each other. 🥰 A very beautiful, mature, poignant love story. 🙌 Thank you and xoxo from Anaheim, CA. 💘🌹
