She Was Just My Neighbor... Until She Asked Me to Come In and Left Me...

Pamela just wanted a fresh start, far from the love that broke her. Liam just wanted silence after a lifetime chasing success. A stubborn dog and a broken fence changed everything between them. But when the past comes knocking and an offer from across the world threatens to tear them apart, they both have to choose: run again... or finally stay. Charlie always knew the way. The question is — will they follow it before it's too late?

This is the most enjoyable, heartwarming, uplifting, touching love story I've ever heard or read. The graphics are completely charming and make me want to have them framed and hanging on the walls in my house. Every detail in the illustrations and in the story are what I would want to include in a plot like this. In fact "plot" doesn't even feel like the right word--I'd say tapestry is better and sweeter. And while the story is not upsetting, I did feel sad about what happened to Pamela's marriage. Especially that her ex-husband asked for a retry. But between her new home, Charlie, and Liam 💘, Pamela had everything anyone could ever want. Certainly everything I could ever want--and did have years ago with my husband and our dog, both long gone now. 💔 😔 If I could give this ten stars, I certainly would Well, here: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you use the names I gave you before, I would want them to be used for characters as endearing as Liam and Pamela in a story as happy as this one. Thank you and xoxo. 🐕🌹

Listened while folding laundry. Folded the same towel four times because I forgot what I was doing.

Loved the German narration too — switched between EN and DE just to compare. Both versions are equally moving.

It's a short one but it lingers. Played it three times in a row. No skips.

Someone tell whoever wrote the warehouse scene I owe them a thank-you note and possibly therapy.

Honest review: I started it skeptical. Sandra K. from my book club kept telling me to. She was right. I was wrong.

I called my own son after this. Told him I love him for no reason. He thought I was sick. I was just emotional.
