I struggled with this one, and I have lots to say about it. (Fair warning 😁) Valentina would have earned an insulting nickname in my neighborhood. And "tease" is the second word of that nickname. She had zero respect for him or even for herself. Hormonal, selfish, and predatory toward her supposed best friend. He was so wise and caring and protective of their bond and had the maturity and wisdom to maintain his restraint. And she would not have any of it. She wanted what she wanted when she wanted it, and then when she got it (used him!), she pulled that immature morning-after overreaction, "Oh no, we made a mistake." Unbelievable but predictable behavior from a user. His reaction to that, his righteous anger so articulately expressed, was completely logical and justified--like everything else he'd said to her before surrendering. The only problem is he didn't get up, pack up, and walk away from that mess. She was not worthy of such a noble man. There ya go, my two cents. 🤷♀️
