Shows you can be mad at someone and still choose them. To many stories have one of the leads use anger to create a conflict that does not need to be. You can be angry with someone, disagree with someone and still choose to like/love them. It takes time to adjust and compromise to someone who is entering your life. This is a beautiful story that shows that.
